How to set FC connection properly?

Solution

There are two modes of FC :
1.Attributed Loop
2.Point to Point


Configure the connection mode to be Point to Point as 16G FC connection supports only P2P, and please make sure that the connection speed is 16G configured from the FC HBA side.


If you set the mode as Attributed Loop then you should set the speed as 8G After you setup the configuration, please reboot the system to take effect
