Why the taken snapshot always gets data consistent issue?
If the snapshot is taken when there are applications running on the host side, the cache data won’t be taken by snapshot. Then this snapshot will have the data consistent issue. In order to avoid this issue, we recommend performing the scheduled snapshot task at mid-night or any time frame that the I/O access is slight or none.
If the user needs the full backup application and can also avoid this data consistent issue. We would suggest the user to choose the third-party backup software which support to backup cache data, such as vSphere Replication of VMware.
