When should I use parity check function?
When you encounter the volume health in partial optimal or receive the read/write error from host side. We will suggest to perform parity check to check there is any inconsistent parity and regenerate. This function is only doable when the pool RAID level is with parity, such as RAID5/6/50/60… etc.
And perform the parity check will also slight affect the current performance, you will observe the overall performance will be lower than usual.
