How to access to the Web UI?

 

Solution

There are four ways to help you to access Web UI : Web finder, XFinder, Default IP and HDMI.
Introduction:          

1. Power on the XCubeNAS.
2. Open a web browser on your computer connected to the same local area network as XCubeNAS, and use either of the following:

a. Use Web Finder:
I. Click”find.qsan.com” for web address (Please make sure the XCubeNAS has internet access ability before using the Web Finder).
II. Web finder will find all the XCubeNAS which is in the same local area network as you.
III. Click “Connect”to access the Web UI














 




b. Use Xfinder:
I. If your XCubeNAS cannot be connected to the internet, please try downloading XFinder application from the QSAN website and installingJavaapplication from Java websiteto your PC:

II. Set the XCubeNAS and your computer at the same subnet mask.
III. Click “Search”. It will show all the NAS in the sameinternet.Double click on your XCubeNAS on the Xfinder to access the Web UI.

 

 

c. Use default IP:
• If LAN doesn’t have a DHCP server, it still can work on zero-configuration networking. The LAN 1 will be assigned a fix IP address: 169.254.1.234. So you can configure the IP address of your management computer to the same subnet domain of the storage system.

d. Use HDMI:
I. Use HDMI monitorand USB keyboardto connect directly to XCubeNAS.



 

 



II. Click XCubeNAS username and password.


III. If your username and password are effective, it will has “console”pup up.

IV. Click “info”and press “Enter”to check XCubeNAS IP.
