Why can't I use NFSv4 with service binding?

Problem/Symptom

Why can't I use NFSv4 with service binding?

When mounting NFSv4 while service binding is enabled on XCubeNAS,
mounting NFS will fail with permission denied/ protocol not supported error message.

Cause

There is a limitation of mounting NFSv4 when service binding enabled which is caused by NFSv4, currently NFS4 cannot be mounted when service binding is enabled.

Resolution

Service binding will work with NFSv3 without issues, recommend to use NFSv3 with service binding.
