Why can't I see the data flow separated on each port after link aggregation?

Problem/Symptom

Why can't I see the data flow separated on each port after link aggregation?

Solution

Link aggregation applies to various methods of combining (aggregating) multiple network connections in parallel in order to provide throughput and redundancy in case one of the links should fail.

Qsan SAN products provide two kinds of bonding method – LACP and Trunking.

The mechanism of LACP is similar with Trunking. The difference between this two mode is that LACP needs switch which must support  LACP or IEEE 803.2ad and Trunking needs switch which support port trunking or link aggregation.

However, for a single client,
the transmit speed is the same as only one port although there is LACP or Trunking. For example, if two 1Gb NICs are used for Port Trunking, the aggregated network bandwidth is increased to 2Gb, but the speed of client remains 1Gb.
