Why it is better to use Thick Provisioning in Virtualization environment?
It is important to deliver high performance in Virtualization environment, thick provisioning possesses around 10%~15% higher performance behavior than thin provisioning.
The granularity of thin provisioning is 1GB size, and only a continuous 1GB zero block as unused data will be reclaimed by the system, the efficiency of space reclamation might be low if the data inside the LUN is fragment a lot.
