How to reset password of admin??

Solution

Method 1: Reset login password to factory default by LCM
1.       Find LCM location. If there is no LCM in subsystem, please jump to Method 2.
2.       Press “Enter” button to enter the sub-menu for further selections.
3.       Access “Reset to Default” item by pressing “(up)” or “(down)” button.
4.       Press “Enter” for confirmation.
5.       Switch to “Yes” shown on LCM by pressing “(up)” button and confirm by pressing “Enter” button.
6.       Please wait for a while and the login password will be reset to factory default.
7.       Please try to login as default password.
Note: This option doesn’t need to reboot the system.


Method 2: Reset login password to factory default by serial console
Prepare the console cable and connect to serial console port
Execute hyper terminal or Putty and follow the setting below.

Baud rate: 115200, 8 data bit, no priority, 1 stop bit, and no flow control

If using Hyper terminal, please check this File > Properties > Settings > Emulation
 
If using Putty, please also check this

1. Input the login name: reset in lower case.
2. Input the MAC address of management port in lower case as password. If you don't know the MAC address of management port, please ping the IP then use arp -a to find it. And it should be 00-13-78-xx-xx-xx

3. The login password will be reset to 1234 and following figure shows
 
4. Please try to login with default password 1234.
Note: This option doesn’t need to reboot the system.
